Learn About Irene Ralph

Irene Ralph is a Registered Psychiatric Nurse with extensive experience in Psychiatry, including In-Patient Psychiatry, Geriatric Psychiatry, as a clinician in both urban and rural Community Mental Health and Addictions settings, as a Manager of Mental Health and Addictions Services and was a pioneer of the Dual Diagnosis Program (Concurrent Disorders) in Vancouver. In addition to her knowledge and skills in Psychiatry she also has expertise in Professional Education, Business Management and Program Development.

She has provided instruction and program development assistance to Selkirk College, Douglas College and Stenberg College. She is an Educator in private practice and continues to provide workshops across Western Canada and has given workshops for Vancouver Coastal Health, St Paul’s Hospital, Interior Health, UBC, Alberta Mental Health Services, Saskatchewan Mental Health Services and Yukon Mental Health Services to name a few. She is semi-retired but continues to keep abreast of the latest trends in Psychiatry and the medications used to treat psychiatric disorders to ensure her workshops and texts provide the most recent and credible information.
